Week 7

This week our assignment was to create a narrative that was long enough that when placed into our website, we would need to create a scrolling page. So, I chose to take my page on my latest website and create a bio about myself that was long enough to need to scroll up and down on the page to read the entire narrative. This bio about myself is an overview of my life including my schooling, my family and friends, and my favorite things.
Also, last week during our critiques people said that my site about myself and my sisters was too bold with the use of the colors, so this week I will be changing the colors of those pages in photoshop to softer colors to fit the sisters theme that I will be using for this site. When this update is complete, I will upload the new screen-capture images of the "sisters" site to blogger. Also, I want to create the fourth page in photoshop for my other sister Jeanna. So far I only have the welcome page, my page, and Dayna's page. When I complete the fourth page of the site for my sister Jeanna, I will also be adding the screen-capture image of that page to blogger as well.

Craft: Since last week the only major craft change that I made was adding more text to my page in order for it to scroll. I still need to add the screen capture of my page that is the version with the longer text.

Composition: The only major composition change that I made to this site this week was changing the colors from red, black, and grey to yellow, black, and grey. I did this because of the suggestions from the critique last week. The yellow now gives it more of a soft feel that goes along with the theme of "sisters."

Concept: The concept of this site is the idea of family, specificially my family. This site is about myself and my two sisters, and that is why it is titled sisters.

This site is not added to my host yet, because I am not done with the changes that I want to make.
