This week I added my second sister, Jeanna's, page to the home page. I also added more text to my page so that the page would have scrolling ability. I also updated my home page with another line in the table that displays the sisters site, and I linked the photo and the description in the index.html page to the sisters site. I uploaded the new files to my host, and the links to the two sites are below.
Craft: I created a longer bio for my page to make it have scrolling ability. I also made a whole new page and link to my second sister, Jeanna's, page. Also, on the left hand header I created rollover images for each icon link (Home, Terrah, Dayna, Jeanna).
Composition: I needed to add the other page to make the site a complete collection of photos and bios about myself, Dayna, and Jeanna. Jeanna's page was the only one that was missing last week. Now it is a complete site. The rollover images that I created for the icon links on the left hand side of the header were created to make the site a little more interesting. When you rollover each of the links the icon changes from a light grey background with dark grey letters to a yellow background with black letters. This subtle change adds a little to the site without becoming too dramatic. All of the colors that were chosen go along with the site's color scheme.
Concept: The concept is the same as last week. This site is a collection of photos and bios about my sisters and myself.
