Week 5

This week we started a new web site using Dreamweaver. We started by creating a new html document. Then we added a table with 2 columns and three rows. Each row is for each of the web sites that will be included on our new page (chicago, burros, and blog).

Then I inserted the screen capture in each of the 3 boxes in the left hand column. Then I linked these images to my iweb1, iweb2, and blogger sites. Then, in the right hand column boxes I added a description of each site and another link to each site as well. This is what my first image should show.

Then, I went back to add a little more to the site. I created tables within the table in each of the three boxes in the right hand column in order to add more color and layering to my site. I also added a header by using photoshop to create it. I cut the entire table that I had previously created, then created a new table with two rows and one column. I pasted what I had just cut into the lower box of the table. This was so that I could add a header in the top box of the table. Then I inserted the photoshop image into the top box to create my header. This should be the second screen capture that I posted this week.
